it's been an interesting new journey since i signed the papers for my own home - a two-bedroom apartment, which will be mine come mid-november. i'm looking forward to a massive overhaul and transforming an old house into a private sanctuary i'm happy to come home to after a long day.
i'm learning new things about myself everyday - discovering what i like and what i don't. my taste currently swings between the extremes of raw industrial chic with its exposed pipes and cement floors, to clean sleek lines of polished tiles and warm neutral tones. let's see how it pans out in the next week!
